The Bronze Award: 2025/26
At Bronze level, students begin to build the skills that employers and universities value: teamwork, communication, and resilience. This is the foundation year where students learn how to be self-sufficient in a controlled, supportive environment.
Bronze Section Requirements
To achieve the Bronze Award, students must complete four sections. Each section requires a minimum of one hour per week.
Volunteering: 3 months.
Physical: 3 months.
Skills: 3 months.
Expedition: Plan, train for, and complete a 2-day, 1-night adventurous journey.
Note: Students must also choose one of the first three sections to do for an additional 3 months (making one section 6 months total).
