Expedition Activities & Skills
Every expedition is a structured learning experience. In addition to the walk itself, students will undertake:
Navigation: Using 1:25,000 OS maps to find checkpoints and manage timings.
Campcraft: Pitching 2 and 3-man tents, managing kit in the rain, and 'Leave No Trace' environmental ethics.
The Team Goal: Every group works toward a shared aim, such as documenting wildlife or creating a video log of their journey.
Remote Supervision: Our qualified Trust staff monitor groups from a distance to ensure safety while allowing students to experience the thrill of independence.
